Oak Student letts has been established since 2002 and our aim is to provide Student Accommodation that offers great quality and value for money. Since our beginning we have been improving our houses and flats to offer accommodation that is at the very top of the market.

This is combined with our friendly and professional staff whom ensure the letting process is as simple as possible.

Your child deposit will be held in a government registered scheme. We currently use The Dispute Service (TDS) these can be contacted at

If an item breaks or is faulty at the property we have a dedicated maintenance department to report the matter to. They can be contacted at repairs@oakstudentletts.com. We will endeavour to fix the problem promptly to avoid any disruption.

Normally we would credit reference a tenant to verify their suitability this allows landlords to ensure that rent will be paid and if required insurance for rent payment protection arranged. However as student will not pass a credit reference we therefore require a guarantor to ensure that financial safe guards are still in place for our landlords.

To reserve a property you will need to fill in a booking form and pay the booking fee. In addition you will need to pay the first four weeks rent and complete a guarantor form. Finally four weeks before you move in you will be required to pay your deposit.

The contracts range from 48-52 week contracts.

Keys can be collected from the office Monday to Thursday at 9am-1pm and 1.30pm-5.30pm or on Fridays 9am-1pm and 1.30pm-5.00pm. Providing that all paperwork and payments have been completed

Depending on the circumstances keys will be replaced and if required a full lock change will be undertaken.

At the end of the tenancy and after your keys have been returned your property will be inspected. Providing no damages has been made to your house and it has been left clean and tidy your deposit will be returned to you within 28day.
